HISTORICAL PROJECT · MOBILE APPCulture and tourism
To engage tourists in discovering places on their own, beyond the tour bus.
In the Hop On Hop Off game, participants got off the bus, scanned an object or confirmed a task with a photo, earned points and made use of geolocation.
The technology supplemented the tourist experience with activity out in the field.
Based on the Runvido project description ↗. The project used a mobile app. We design any new WebAR project separately.
Want to use this direction for your brand? We will match the content and interactions to your material and campaign goal.
Let's talk about a similar projectIn the Hop On Hop Off game, participants got off the bus, scanned an object or confirmed a task with a photo, earned points and made use of geolocation.
Your audience does not have to fit the whole story onto one surface. The digital layer lets you expand a chosen part of the message at the moment of contact with the material. What matters is a clear invitation to interact and content that answers the audience's needs.
A route with points on a map, tasks and materials discovered at selected places. The scoring rules, route availability and behaviour on a weaker connection need to be agreed.
This is a proposal for a new scenario, not an additional scope attributed to the historical project. We quote and test a new project separately; it does not require giving the client access to a panel for building experiences themselves.
We define the goal, the audience, the place of distribution and the action after viewing the content. We check the graphics and the available videos. We can develop the script, record the material, design the print and implement everything. Before launch we test the camera, browsers and an alternative way to view the content.
We choose indicators to match the goal: opening the experience, starting and finishing a video, or clicking through to contact. A play is not the same as a unique viewer or a sale. We define the reporting scope and campaign period in the brief.
Yes, we design a new project as WebAR in a supported browser. The historical example used a mobile app; we will agree the exact scope of the new experience in the brief.
You can supply your own materials or order their preparation. We will assess the quality of the graphics, the rights to the content, the need for recordings, the print format and how long the campaign will run.
